Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise ¼ cup egg substitute
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons olive oil 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice1 tablespoon anchovy paste
2 cloves garlic – pressed 2 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon coarsely ground pepper ¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dried parsley – crushed fine

How to Prepare:
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Use an electric mixer
to beat ingredients for about 1 minute.
2. Cover bowl and chill for several hours so that flavors can
develop. Makes approximately 2 cups.
This dressing keeps for weeks and weeks in the fridge in a covered
container (if it’s even around that long).

- 1 peck 4 to 6 inch pickles
4 grape or horseradish leaves
1 bunch dill weed
6 qts. water
2 tbsp. alum
1 1/2 pt. vinegar
1 1/2 c. canning salt
8 cloves garlic, optional
A 4 gal. crock
Direction: Wash and place in crock; pickles, grape (or horseradish) leaves and dill. Boil together water, vinegar, salt, and alum for at least 5 minutes. Cool and pour over pickles. Weight with plate to keep pickles covered with brine solution and cure for 10 days. You may add garlic after the eighth day. Let cure in a cool place. |
